Ode to Motherhood Retreat

For Mother’s Day we took a trip to Hasbrouck House for some restoration. We wanted to prioritize self-care and wellness within motherhood. We began our conversation around what mental health looks like as a new mom. While expressing ourselves we also took the time to reset our energy with meditation, breath work, time in nature, good food & nourishment, and some much needed leisure time by the pool & sauna.

We found that building community in motherhood is so important and imperative to feeling heard and seen, being able to relate and connect on the journey of creating new life and fostering new life. What does that responsibility look like for caring for not only your child but yourself as well?

Hasbrouck house really set the tone for tranquility, being able to wake up in our plush beds every morning , walk out and enjoy the sun on our face on our patios, and be enveloped by the nature and gardens surrounding us.

We can’t wait to come back next year :)
