A Time to be Still Retreat

A Time to be still retreat… Whew our first ever safe space silent retreat! We wanted to create this experience because we believe in the importance of stillness & peace of mind. We believe that practicing silence is the key to joy & feeling peace in your mind, body, and spirit because you actually have the opportunity to finally listen.

The first night was about setting our intentions, mediation, grounding, and release. The next morning we woke up and did our mediation and body movement to prepare ourselves for our 9 hour journey of silence. We all did things separately and then got together to visit the most beautiful lake to continue our stillness. After the 9 hours was over we realized how much our mind and bodies craved that time to JUST BE no phones, no commuication, no responsibilities. It was bliss. We celebrated and discussed our experiences. The next day we had our last meditation, did some fire pit intentions, and headed on our way home.

We held this retreat at Spruceton Inn, which was so perfect. We felt safe and so held in this space surrounded by nature & beauty. We can’t wait to visit next year :)
