SafeSpace Montana

Our trip to Montana began with a seven hour flight from New York City. Once we touched down we picked up our car rental, did some grocery shopping for our family meals, and headed to the retreat location. We stayed in a beautiful modern cabin nestled in the woods covered in a beautiful blanket of snow. After we settled into our rooms we prepared a family dinner and got to know each other the remainder of the night. We stoked the fireplace and did a meditation & journaled about somethings we were ready to release to the fire.

The next morning we woke up and the first thing we did was join Fearless Growth in a guided fitness class to start off our day. Then gathered around the table for a breakfast quiche and got ready for the days adventure. We hopped in the car and headed out to Come Alive Healing Adventures which is located in Northwest Montana. Come Alive Healing adventures provided us with a Horse Assisted healing Session & guided yoga. During this experience we got to really connect to nature and these horses which was such a transformative & healing moment. The owner Katie Rose was such a beautiful host & really created something so special that we will never forget. That night we had a big family dinner where we shared our stories & thoughts with each other. We finished the night with a meditation.

The next day after breakfast & fitness with Fearless Growth we ended up getting snowed in by a beautiful snow storm. We decided to do a body appreciation mirror group activity which was so empowering. Afterwards being inspired from our activity we decided to do a group photoshoot in the snow until sundown. We prepared our family dinner, did a group meditation, and enjoyed a movie night together.

Our last day in Montana was bittersweet we had all become so close so fast & were having such a beautiful time. After our usual morning routine we all headed out to Glacier National park where  we did a group hike through a snow covered wonderland (literally). We did a group meditation by Lake Mcdonald where we had the most breathtaking views of the clearest bluest water where you could see a bed of rainbow rocks and when you looked up there was the snow covered mountains. We ended the hike with a snowball fight on the way out. After our long day we headed home had our last family dinner and talked all night long soaking in the rest of the time we had together.

Montana was truly life changing.
