Adventure In The Adirondacks

We started our 4 hour drive to the Adirondacks from Brooklyn with some smoothies and great music. The views on our way up was stunning. We reached Adirondack Safari right at sundown and was met with the most beautiful cotton candy skies. The camp site was on a huge plot of land surrounded by huge white tents. We settled in & grabbed some groceries for our barbecue later that night. Once the sun went down we walked over to the middle of the camp where they were starting a huge bon fire. An Indigenous tribe was performing and educating us on their way of life & history. it was such an honor and amazing opportunity getting to have that moment together. After the performance we went back to our tents to grill, have s’mores, and talk all night long till we couldn’t anymore.

The next day we woke up early and enjoyed a light breakfast before we headed out to Prospect Mountain for our 3 hour hike. After a long and uphill hike we headed to grab some ice cream before heading to camp. When we got back to our camp we grabbed some tubes and floated down the lake together, which was so relaxing and much needed. After that we all cleaned up and relaxed by our tents before having one last dinner together and turning it in for the night. The next morning before saying our goodbyes we went to a local diner and enjoyed a huge breakfast together with all the works. Our time in Adirondack Safari was so relaxing and fun, we can’t wait to visit next year !
