Wellness in Tennesse
Our adventure in Chattanooga, Tennessee, kicked off in the best way possible with a visit to Southern Soul Yoga, a stunning Black-owned studio that radiated warmth and community. We immersed ourselves in a blissful Yin Yoga class led by the talented Daniel Brown—an absolute treat that melted away the stress from our long travels. After this rejuvenating experience, we gathered for a hearty family dinner at Goodfellas Pizza, where laughter and conversation flowed as we got to know each other better.
After dinner, we checked into The Dwell Hotel, a true gem that felt like stepping into a fairytale. Each room was uniquely curated, showcasing its own character and style, and the historical charm of this 1908 building was simply enchanting. With oversized bathtubs in every room, it was a no-brainer that we indulged in luxurious bubble baths with our favorite LUSH cosmetics bath bombs that night, washing away the travel fatigue.
The next morning, we relished a delightful family breakfast at Syrup & Eggs, conveniently located in our hotel. As we savored our meals, we shared stories about our relaxing night, feeling grateful for the space to unwind. Energized, we returned to Southern Soul Yoga for a hot power yoga class led by Daniel Brown again. This session was both invigorating and relaxing, with an amazing playlist that truly transported us into the moment.
After yoga, we ventured to Ruby Falls, where we embarked on an unforgettable tour through an underground cave that revealed breathtaking natural beauty, including a stunning underground waterfall. Words can hardly capture the magic of that place; every step brought a new wonder to behold.
Once back at The Dwell, we dressed up for another family dinner, embracing the joy of shared meals and connection. The night wrapped up with more self-care and relaxation in our hotel rooms, allowing us to soak in the experience of the day. This trip was a wonderful opportunity to slow down, rejuvenate, and connect with ourselves and each other in a beautiful setting!
