Spruceton INN Retreat

Our Sanctuary at Spruceton Inn was truly a serene escape, nestled on a picturesque, off-the-grid piece of land that felt like a hidden gem. As we arrived, we were greeted by the enchanting scenery, complete with cozy picnic tables, fire pits, and charming hammocks scattered throughout the property.

We kicked off our retreat with a delightful family barbecue, savoring delicious food together, followed by the quintessential s’mores by the fire—because what’s a retreat without them? Afterward, we gathered in one of our cozy rooms for a heartfelt group meditation and discussion, where we shared our experiences and set our intentions to release into the fire, creating a profound sense of connection.

The next morning, we awoke early to enjoy a nourishing breakfast of avocado toast, granola, and fresh fruit before embarking on an exhilarating hike at Hunter Mountain, one of the highest peaks in the Catskills. Reaching the summit and climbing to the top of the fire tower, we were rewarded with breathtaking views that made every step worthwhile. To celebrate our accomplishment, we treated ourselves to hearty burgers before cooling off with a refreshing dip at Collegiate Lake.

As we returned to our haven at Spruceton Inn, we gathered by the fire, sharing stories and reflections, cherishing the memories we created together before packing up for our journey home. This retreat was not just an escape; it was a sanctuary of peace, connection, and rejuvenation that we’ll treasure forever.
